Incase you do not know, one of Nigeria's most vibrant Optometrists, Dr. Eniola Ajayi is in the race for the Federal House of Representatives. Dr. Ajayi is contesting to be the representative for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1 (Ado/Irepodun/Ifelodun) in the upcoming March 28, 2015 National Assembly Elections.

Dr. Eniola Ajayi, a native of Iyin-Ekiti, has promised to ensure that her manifesto- The Citizen’s Charter- where the interest and the rights of the weakest in our links are protected and the life of every Nigerian- young or old, man or woman, strong or weak, in the North or South shall count for something, is implemented through robust legislation. The distinguished and dynamic Optometristhad served twice as commissioner in Ekiti, as Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, and also Environment in the Dr. Kayode Fayemi-led government.

The Optometrist, who hails from Iyin-Ekiti, had served in various capacities in the Nigerian Optometric Association especially in the Lagos chapter where she was once the state chapter chairman and Chairman of the LOC for the Excellence 2012, Lagos NOA conference/AGM. She has been involved in many laudable projects.
